Tools of the Trade: Firebug

Firebug is a free web development tool that is used to inspect and edit CSS and HTML documents in real time. This is the most important tool in my web developer toolbox and I would feel handicapped without it. To customize your blogs just the way you like them,  knowing how to use Firebug is essential .

I found a Youtube video by JB Moelker, explaining how to use Firebug and though the video is a little dated, it does give a pretty good introduction on how to use it.

Before you dive into Firebug, you need to know the basics and you must be familiar with HTML and CSS. You can watch some of the videos I've made here.

I also found some great links over at Digital Yard Sale where Nick shares the resources that helped him learn how to design for the web.
